POCATELLO — A woman who was driving the wrong way down Fourth Avenue, which is a one-way street, was arrested Thursday afternoon.

Pocatello Police Department officers stopped Jacquiline Marie Day around 3:42 p.m. at the intersection of East Benton Street and Fourth Avenue.

Authorities further indicated that the 65-year-old California resident had been drinking alcohol.

As a result, Day faces the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. She was taken to the Bannock County Jail where she posted bond shortly thereafter.
