JACKSON HOLE — The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has been voted number one in three different categories by SKI Magazine readers.

Readers of the magazine ranked the JHMR number on in overall satisfaction, character and most challenging terrain. The ranking appears in the October edition.

“The Kemmerer Family and JHMR’s board of directors have been dedicated to improving the infrastructure of the resort, and with their leadership over $135 in on-mountain improvements have been reinvested,” said Jerry Blann, president of JHMR.

“A new Aerial Tram, an eight passenger gondola, five chairlifts, an on-mountain restaurant, expanded snowmaking, and increased grooming fleet have all enhanced the Jackson Hole experience while keeping the western character of Teton Village intact.”

The JHMR opens for the winter 2012/2013 season on Nov. 24. The resort neighbors two national parks, Yellowstone and Grand Teton.
