Pickup hits sign at Doc's Gun Barn

The Chevrolet pickup truck that struck the sign in front of Doc's Gun Barn in Pocatello sits atop a flatbed wrecker on Friday night. Police said the man driving the pickup suffered a medical problem while heading southbound on Jefferson Avenue around 7:45 p.m. Friday.

He lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the Doc's sign, destroying it and severely damaging his pickup. The man was transported by Pocatello Fire Department ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. His identity was not available Friday night.
