FORT HALL — Tribal police are investigating the death of a 47-year-old man on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation and are urging the public not to speculate that the incident is a homicide.
Tribal member Dude Galloway died on Saturday evening at a home on Ballard Road.
Fort Hall police said they responded to the residence around 6:40 p.m. after receiving a call that Galloway was unconscious and not breathing at the home.
Police said an autopsy to determine Galloway's cause of death will be performed Monday.
Fort Hall Police Chief Pat Teton said, “It’s too soon at this point to release any other information or speculate that it is a homicide.”
Galloway's death is being investigated by Fort Hall police and the FBI.
