IDAHO FALLS — Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputies were involved in a short car chase on Tuesday afternoon.

Sgt. Jared Hurt said the deputies located a man who was wanted on a stalking warrant around 2 p.m. The man fled in a white car and the deputies pursued him in the area of First Street and Northgate Mile.

Hurt said the deputies decided to call-off the pursuit shortly after it began due to the fact that there was a lot of traffic in the area at the time of the incident, and they were driving unmarked vehicles.

Additional details were unavailable at press time.
