The public is invited to support a local Make-A-Wish Foundation recipient by patronizing Buffalo Wild Wings today starting at 5 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will go towards fulfilling the wish of a 3-year-old girl in our area who was diagnosed with a serious childhood illness that often causes bone swelling and can attack vital organs of the body.
Despite these challenges, the unamed girl is full of energy, loves cheerleading and the color pink, according to a news release. Her ultimate wish is to meet the Disney Princesses in person.
Idaho Falls residents have the opportunity to support the girl Nov. 16-20 at the Barnes and Noble store inside the Grand Teton Mall. Order online any time November 16-20 at http://www.bn.com and use Bookfair ID 10895621 to donate to cause.
On Nov. 16, Idaho State University students will be on-site at Barnes and Noble from 1-6 p.m. where a raffle will be held.
From noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, Dr. Alex Bolinger will host a workshop titled "Fundamental Negotiation Skills" at the Hampton Inn in Pocatello. The cost is $25, and all proceeds go directly to the Make-a-Wish Challenge.
Bolinger’s management class students are the ones participating in this "Make-a-Wish Challenge."
Specifically, the students are learning the strategic planning process as they work in groups to plan and execute a series of fundraisers for the local Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Direct donations are also welcome. Checks should be made out to the “Make-a-Wish Foundation” and may be mailed to the ISU College of Business at the following address:
