A second In-N-Out restaurant for Meridian may have been denied by the city council last fall due to traffic and congestion concerns, but the prospect now has another shot at becoming a reality.
The developers behind The District at Ten Mile, a planned retail and business complex spanning over 600,000 square feet, announced the California burger chain would be one of several retailers hopefully setting up shop.
“We’ve been at Ten Mile for the last for the last seven years creating over a million square feet of office and retail space at Ten Mile Crossing [Business Park]. Now we’re working on The District at Ten Mile,” Mark Cleverley, chief leasing officer for Ahlquist Development, said in a video posted to social media.
The District will be located across from Ten Mile Crossing. Also among its inaugural tenants will be the Treasure Valley’s second Lifetime Fitness locale and a148,000-square-foot Target.
The big-box store has a projected opening date of May 2027. It will be the Treasure Valley’s fourth Target, with two currently in Boise and one in Nampa.
Cleverley also announced that the complex would include Taco Bell, Panera Bread, Handel’s Ice Cream, Mo Bettah’s Hawaiian Style Food and Zao Modern Asian Cafe. Opening dates for In-N-Out, Lifetime and these retailers have not been announced.
