   BOISE — Ada County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an accidental discharge at Expo Idaho that happened during a gun show, spokesperson Andrea Dearden said in a release.
   At about 3 p.m., Saturday, a gun accidentally discharged, sending a round into two other guns. No one was hit by the round, but shrapnel hit five bystanders.
   A 23-year-old Mountain Home man was hit in the eye by shrapnel. He was transported by Ada County Paramedics for treatment of a serious eye injury that is not believed to be life-threatening. Another was treated for a minor injury at the scene.
   The gun was fired into part of a vendor's display. Someone attending the show picked up the large-caliber handgun and unintentionally fired it.

According to this report, "a gun accidentally discharged." Magic! More likely, some portly middle-aged John Wayne wannabe was playing soldier and negligently fired it.
What's your point? Wouldn't a more intelligent comment be why was the gun loaded in the first place?
Although the first thing anyone should do when picking up any firearm is determine if it's loaded or not.
