An account for Clinton Lane, who is recovering from injuries sustained in a  recent crane boom accident, has been set up at the Wells Fargo bank.

People can stop in at any Wells Fargo location to make a donation in his name.

The 33-year-old man was working to load a crane onto a flatbed trailer at a construction site east of Walmart in Blackfoot on August 6 when the accident occurred.

Lane was in the process of removing the boom when it shifted and fell on top of him, according to Blackfoot Police Department officials.

Emergency responders were able to utilize some other construction equipment in the area to get the boom off of Lane within about 15 minutes. He was then flown to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello with serious injuries.
