POCATELLO — The interests of three Gate City sisters have combined to offer customers at 110 N. Main St. karaoke, coffee and baby items.

    “It’s an odd combination, but it’s fun,” said Alisha Treasure, who runs the baby boutique. “I think it works.”

    All three of the young partners are currently pursuing degrees at Idaho State University while juggling hours at the De Ja Brew Coffee Shop and Tiny Treasures Baby Boutique where karaoke is hosted each Wednesday night starting at 6 p.m.

    The store relocated and opened in a portion of the old Paris building in early September.

    “I really wanted this spot, because there are so many activities going on in Old Town I wanted to be a part of,” Treasure said. “We participated in the First Friday Art Walk last week.”

    The 25-year-old is going to school part time. She will end up with a degree in secondary education.

    “For me, the inspiration (to be an entrepreneur) was my son,” Treasure said. “I needed a job where I could take him to work with me. So, I decided to open up a baby boutique.”

    Treasure’s son, Kayson Isaacson, is one year old.

    “He pretty much runs this place,” Treasure joked.

    New and used baby items can be found at the boutique including: Handmade crocheted items, play gyms, strollers, clothing and baby shower gifts.

    The Century High School graduate is also in the process of placing a Christmas order so she can fill her shelves with toys.

    At the coffee shop, Treasure’s sisters, Tiffany and Ashley Osterhout, enjoy coming up with unique concoctions such as peach, granny’s snickerdoodle, white lightening and maraschino cherry.

    “It’s nice working here. It’s a lot easier working with family,” said Ashley Osterhout. “If you make a mistake, they tend to be more understanding.”

    The 18-year-old graduated early from the American Falls High School and is majoring in radiology at ISU.

    “We have plans to bring in some more tables for the coffee shop,” Osterhout added.

    The sisters’ business venture is backed by support from their mother and grandmother.

    “We’re all very close,” Treasure concluded. “She (Ashley) is our baby sister. So, we’ve always looked out for her.”
