Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle rollover on State Highway 39 outside of Aberdeen on Saturday about 9:14 a.m., according to a state police news release.
Lois A. Warner, 64, of Aberdeen, was traveling north on State Highway 39 near milepost 13 in a 1996 Ford Thunderbird when the accident happened. For unknown reasons, Warner drifted into the southbound lanes. She corrected back toward the northbound lanes, then swerved and drove off the south shoulder to avoid hitting a vehicle in the northbound lane that had swerved to avoid her. Warner's vehicle went off the westbound shoulder before hitting an embankment and going airborne. Then the vehicle overturned and landed on its wheels. Â
Warner was transported by ambulance to the Power County Hospital in American Falls with non-life-threatening injuries. She was wearing a seat belt. This crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
