Mr. Simpson, this is in response to your January 13, 2026, article in the Idaho State Journal about Standing with ICE. This article goes against everything I hold dear about my country. For you to support a group of Thugs (probably all those bad men and women who stormed the Capitol on January 6th), you should be ashamed of yourself. They were found guilty and sent to jail. Trump, after becoming President, cleared them all of any wrong doing and freed them.

I think it is pretty clear to most of us Americans that these are Donald Trump’s Thugs who are being paid $50,000 to terrorize any state that does not agree with this Lawless President. We are asking you to DEFUND HOMELAND SECURITY. I do not want my taxes going to this lawless activity. We now can see with our own eyes that murder is being committed in COLD BLOOD to law abiding citizens. My heart goes out to their families. This is WRONG. Shame on you for asking the people to support this group. Good guys do not wear masks. We have so many good, lawful people in this countr,y and we are going to take back our country, certainly without your help.

I truly hope you will not be re elected, along with all the other spineless congressmen who sat all of 2025 out while Trump and his lawless administration dished out his dastardly deeds on the people of his country. Where was your backbone in fighting for the American people? We got a good look at what the term DEAD WOOD looks like. Most of the American people are ashamed of our administration and of Congress allowing a lawless President to go amuck! Our Beautiful Constitution is on the line. Shame on you for turning a blind eye to all the lawlessness. The good people who stand up against such blatant corruption need to be commended and supported.
