Facility updates: Exciting things are happening at the event center. The event center recently signed a three-year agreement with Nederlander Concerts, an independent event promoter, to book concerts for the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre. Upgrades are almost done on the grandstands at the race track, just in time for the Pocatello Downs season to begin. Additionally, a new water truck is being purchased to better maintain the race track. The Ag Extension building is getting some much-needed renovations, and the event center is investing in adding security cameras to the facility. More updates will follow as the season continues.
