POCATELLO — The public is invited to celebrate the new daily flight at Pocatello Regional Airport.

On March 2 at 2:30 p.m., airport staff along with Mayor Brian Blad, the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce, Pocatello Chiefs and the Chamber’s Air Service Committee will host a ribbon cutting for the flight operated by SkyWest Airlines, the Delta Connection to Salt Lake City.

“This new flight significantly increases the number of options available to travelers and reflects the overall economic growth our region is experiencing,” said David Allen, Pocatello Regional Airport manager. “We are very excited about that growth and our part in it. We would like to invite everyone to come out and share in that excitement.”

Light refreshments will be served.
