• “The Mustang” plays at 5:15 and 7:30 p.m. today in the Bengal Theater at the ISU Pond Student Union. Based on true events, this film is the story of Roman Coleman, a violent convict, who is given the chance to participate in a Wyoming rehabilitation therapy program involving the training of wild mustangs which offers him a chance at redemption with his family. • The Comedy Project performs at 8 p.m. every Friday, with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. at MP Dance Studios on 575 E. Second Ave. in Pocatello. Admission is $8 or $5 with a student ID. While live, unscripted comedy can be unpredictable, the performers attempt to maintain an approximately PG-13 rating.

• First Presbyterian Church of Pocatello, 202 S. Seventh Ave., will hold its annual rummage sale from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

• The Nock the Rock Half Marathon will take place Saturday in Soda Springs. The mountains of Southeast Idaho and the snow-capped peaks of the Bitterroots in the distance form the backdrop at this half marathon, which is open to runners, joggers and walkers. The race begins and ends in front of Caribou Memorial Hospital. For kids who aren’t ready for 13.1 miles, there’s also a 1-mile run/walk that joins the half marathon, which runs through an elk ranch and features beautiful views as well. Scheduled starting times are 7:30 a.m. for the 1-mile run/walk, and 8 a.m. for the half marathon.

• The ISU Football Alumni Team, better known as F.A.T., will hold its annual F.A.T. Golf Scramble on Saturday at the Highland Golf Course. The event consists of four person teams with two flights so a team can select either the 8 a.m. flight or the 1:30 p.m. flight. Go to www.isufat.com to register.

• The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main St. in Pocatello.

• It’s Enrichment Day at Pocatello’s Zoo Idaho. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, watch to see the animals sniff, stomp, pounce and play with tempting “Enrichment” treats designed to exercise their minds and bodies and enhance their overall well-being. The event is free with general admission.

• Priddaho, a local LGBTQ nonprofit, will host a Pride Celebration from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday in OK Ward Park in Pocatello. There will be dunk tanks, bouncy houses, food and drag queens. Admission will be free, and local public health officials will administer free rapid HIV testing.

• The Family History Center of Arimo is sponsoring a pioneer event from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Arimo Stake Center. Everyone is invited, and there will be things to do for the whole family. Light refreshments will be served. You are welcome to come dressed as pioneers.

• The annual Pebble Creek Music and Wildflower Festival will be held on Saturday at Pebble Creek Ski Area near Inkom. The gate opens at 1 p.m., and the music starts at 3 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. The Sawabi Chapter of the Idaho Native Plant Society will be leading a plant walk at 4:30 p.m. from the top of the ski lift. This year, there’s more music, more access to the mountain’s beauty. Tickets are $10 at the gate or $8 if you buy them in advance from Barrie’s Ski and Sports, The Sand Trap or Pocatello PowerSports. Lift rides will be available from 1 to 6:45 p.m. and cost $15 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6 to 12. Food and drinks will be available courtesy of Pebble Creek Ski Patrol, along with adult beverages served up by The Sand Trap.

• Comedian Jeff Foxworthy at Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel will perform two shows — at 6 and 9 p.m. Saturday — at the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel in Fort Hall. Tickets start at $39 and can be purchased at shobangaming.yapsody.com. Widely known for his redneck jokes, Foxworthy’s act goes well beyond that to explore the humor in everyday family interactions and human nature.
