AMERICAN FALLS — On Dec. 10, the American Falls community and beyond will have the opportunity to come together and support local music students. The 2025 annual Christmas Extravaganza Concert, Twas the Night Before Christmas,” will be a highlight of the Christmas season for attendees and their families.

The concert event will include a Christmas Market of local vendors starting at 5:30 p.m. in the American Falls High School commons, 2966 S. Frontage Road. Along with the Christmas Market, the AFHS Culinary classes will be selling custom-decorated Christmas Cookies for $1 that can be picked up after the concert. The SOTF Bands will also have a raffle fundraiser of beautiful, assorted gift baskets and silent auction items. The fundraised money helps band students represent our community and state as they travel to perform in California for spring break 2026.

Doors will open at 6:40 p.m. for seating in our beautifully decorated performing arts center, courtesy of senior drum major Abbie Morgan. Some of the school’s Christmas decorations this year will feature special artwork from all the students of Jerse Elementary School. At 7 p.m., the concert will kick off with a night of festive holiday music classics, magical moments, prizes for the audience, a special collaboration between the AFHS Music and Art department and, of course, the community carol sing-along at the end.

Entry to the event is free. But there will also be a senior project collecting canned food, warm clothing and blankets. Donations are not required, but are appreciated. After the concert, attendees will have a chance to visit and take a picture with Santa Claus and grab a free hot chocolate and treat.
