Quarterback Will Levis was waived by the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, while Odell Beckham Jr. made the New York Giants. More than 1,100 players were cut as NFL teams trimmed their rosters. A second-round pick in 2023 who started 21 games for the Titans, Levis was stuck behind Cam Ward and Mitch Trubisky. He was 5-16 for Tennessee in two seasons and didn’t play in 2025 following shoulder surgery. Levis said he believes he can be a starting quarterback in the NFL. Beckham, a three-time Pro Bowl receiver, is back with the Giants after missing the 2025 season.

Newly acquired offensive lineman Broderick Jones will get a chance to start at right tackle for the Dallas Cowboys over Terence Steele, whose performance has lagged since his emergence as an undrafted free agent six years ago. The Cowboys gave up picks in the third and sixth round of next year’s draft to get Jones and a fourth-rounder next year. Coach Brian Schottenheimer called third-year left tackle Tyler Guyton to tell him the move didn’t affect Dallas’ 2024 first-round pick. Schottenheimer made the same call to Steele — with a different message.
