Kansas is aiming to regain some momentum after back-to-back losing seasons under Lance Leipold. The Jayhawks brought back Andy Kotelnicki to help direct the offense after he left for a couple of seasons at Penn State. Leipold and Kotelnicki will be breaking in a new quarterback after Jalon Daniels finished his career, and Cole Ballard, Isaiah Marshall and Chase Jenkins have been competing for the job. Both the offensive and defensive lines remain uncertain as the Jayhawks prepare for their opener against Long Island. That is part of a favorable schedule that should give Kansas ample opportunities to get back to a bowl game.
