The Grizzlies won their first game of the 1A D-I District 4-5-6 tournament Saturday with a 54-44 home victory over the Trojans.
“It was a home game and the kids knew the importance of this win,” said Grace head coach Rory Lloyd. “They played hard.”
Colton Kladis dropped 28 points in the victory.
Grace (10-10) hosts Glenns Ferry in the next round Monday at 6 p.m.
“It will be a good game. We won by two at home the last time we played,” Lloyd said. “They’re a real scrappy team, real fast and they shoot a lot of 3s. We have to defend the perimeter.”
