PROVO, Utah — Freshman Bailey Bars finished second in the women’s javelin throw with a career best 48.90m, a Big Sky standard, at the Robison Invitational Saturday. Bars’ mark ranks second on the Idaho State all-time best performers list.

    Chloe Palakovich moved into first in the conference with her time of 2:09.92 in the women’s 800m. Palakovich has won the past two Big Sky Championships in the women’s 800m.

    Camille Marchand won the 100m and 200m at the Robison Invitational. Marchand ran a career best 11.88 in the 100m and a 24.08 in the 200m.

    Hayli Worthington won the women’s 400m hurdles with a time of 59.59. She ranks first in the conference for the 400m hurdles with her school record time of 59.33 from the Mt. Sac Relays.

    Maci Whitby-Bingham finished third in the women’s discus with a Big Sky mark of 44.86m. Caitlin Maulin jumped a height of 3.91m and finished second in the invitational pole vault. Katie Nichols won the open 800m with a career best time of 2:13.66.

    Andy Lish qualified in the 200m and 400m. In the 200m, Lish finished third with a time of 21.64, and he finished second in the 400m with a time of 47.66. Corban Latimore followed Lish in the 400m, finishing third with a time of 48.07.

    Cade Owen finished third in the men’s 400m hurdles with a time of 54.92, a Big Sky standard. Mike Arnold finished second in the men’s invitational pole vault with a height of 5.36m.

    The Bengals wrap up the regular season at the Weber State Twilight Meet Wednesday, May 1.
