BOISE — Idaho’s first professional soccer stadium is ready for its grand opening.

Ahead of the April 4 home opener, AC Boise opened its doors for the first time to the public Saturday afternoon for its Fan Fest — an event for season ticket holders to get a first look at the AC Boise stadium and players on the field. The team had a brief open practice and held an autograph session afterward, allowing kids and fans to meet the team for the first time.

The club also took members of the media on a tour of the stadium, highlighting its unique features and what to expect on an AC Boise gameday. The former horse racing track at Expo Idaho has transformed in under a year into the home of Boise’s newest professional sports team that promises to be packed with fans from across the Treasure Valley and all of Idaho.

Demand for tickets has been rapid with the club breaking United Soccer League records for season tickets sold, surpassing 6,500 tickets for the 2026 season.

The main grandstand to the west will seat most of the 7,000-plus fans on gameday. It features mostly bleacher seating, with seats closer to the field having cushioned seats and seatbacks. The lower seats are green, with “Boise” written out across the sections in white.

Another unique feature of the grandstand is the “Athletic Club” lettering on the back wall of the stand, bringing more character to the stadium.

Inside the main concourse, a number of concession stands will be in operation for food and drinks, with TVs displayed around, guaranteeing fans won’t miss any action when leaving their seats.

Along the west sideline is more premium seating, with seats right up against the video boards on the field that are as close to the field as possible per league rules.

To the north of the field are VIP suites, where food and drinks can be purchased and brought directly to the suites. There are 24 seats per suite that are on the field, giving fans a front-row seat to the action.

On the opposite side of the field from the main grandstand in the northeast corner is the 800-seat Ford Family Zone section. Tickets for the section start at $10, with 200 reserved for gameday purchase only, starting at 2 p.m. at the ticket window at the stadium.

The southeast corner of the stadium will feature a beer garden with local craft beers and other food options available for those who purchase tickets to the section. Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis with the rest of the area serving as standing room only.

The scoreboard is placed on the south end of the field above the supporter section, which is a standing section that will be home to the River Guard, AC Boise’s loyal supporter group that will be an active and thunderous fan section at every home match. With a capacity of 494, it will be home to AC Boise’s most dedicated fans.

The revamped Turf Club in the southwest corner of the stadium features more VIP seating and is available to be rented out for events such as weddings, business meetings and future concerts at the stadium. It will have full food and drink service. The lower level of the club is home to the team store on gamedays.

Additional snack stations and restrooms are placed along the north and south ends of the stadium.
