Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, will host the annual Hometown Heroes Recognition Barbecue on Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be cotton candy and balloons for the kids, and door prizes will be given. This is the fourth year Wilks will recognize one outstanding individual as the “Emergency Responder of the Year.”
