Thursday, June 11Marshall Public Library, 113 S. Garfield Ave. in Pocatello, will host “Dig Up a Good Story” with special guests Dan Albro and Sal the Salamander from Zoo Idaho at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 11. This all-ages program will feature an educational and interactive storytime experience followed by a craft activity. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about wildlife while enjoying stories and hands-on fun.

ISU’s Summer Concert on the Quad this week features folk singers Jay Hurley and Evan Norman at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 11. This local string band duo blends a diverse selection of original songs with a few familiar ones that the crowd is sure to enjoy. All are welcome to attend these free community concerts.

Live jazz trio Speakeasy performs in the Yellowstone Lounge, 230 W. Bonneville St. in Pocatello, from 6 to 8 p.m. every Thursday, featuring jazz classics from the 1930s in the style of Benny Goodman, with Keith Ward on clarinet/sax, Freddy Gildersleeve on guitar and Tanya Johnson on upright. Friday, June 12Acclaimed modern Western “Rebuilding” plays at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 12, at ISU’s Bengal Theater. A Colorado cowboy navigates life after a wildfire destroys his ranch. Living in a FEMA trailer camp, he finds community with fellow victims and works to reconnect with his ex-wife and daughter, who wants to follow in her father’s footsteps. Rated PG. Admission is $3 for the public, $2 for ISU employees and free for ISU students with a Bengal ID.

The Idaho State Journal Family Fun Day is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at the Portneuf Wellness Complex in Pocatello. Bring the kids for bouncy houses, fishing, paddleboarding, tons of activities and even a live air ambulance landing. Admission is free.

Sunday, June 14The 2026 Eastern Idaho Mind, Body and Spirit Expo is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at Lookout Point in downtown Pocatello. This one day outdoor event will feature a wide variety of vendors, practitioners, readers, healers, creators and teachers throughout Eastern Idaho and the surrounding areas.

The Whimsy Market is set for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at the Red Lion Hotel, 1555 Pocatello Creek Road in Pocatello. There will be treats, services, art and home goods for the alternative, fantasy and oddity interested community. Admission is free.
