LAVA HOT SPRINGS — Bannock County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an accident involving a vehicle and cattle on Tuesday night. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The vehicle was traveling west on Maughan Road near Lava Hot Springs when it struck  the cattle around 8 p.m., sheriff’s officials said. The vehicle was damaged in the incident, but didn’t have to be towed away. The cattle wandered off before deputies arrived so it’s unclear if any of the animals were injured in the incident.

Additional details were unavailable at press time.
