POCATELLO — Two individuals were taken into custody Wednesday, including an arrest that police say involved the seizure of 3.95 grams of marijuana.

    Benjamin Max Aslett faces one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Aslett was located at a residence in the 600 block of First Avenue, according to the police report. Pocatello Police Department officials further indicated that he was charged with trespassing in the same area recently.

    In addition, Daniel Duane Powell, 30, was arrested and charged with petit theft. PPD officials said the charge is related to a candy theft from Winco.

    Both individuals were taken to the Bannock County Jail.
