Tickets can be purchased through Tuesday for the 13th Annual Idaho State Journal Business and Achievement Awards Dinner set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pocatello’s Clarion Inn.

   This year’s nominees include Phil Meador, Stacy Miller, Chad Tolman, Teresa Nelson, Jody Lewis, Robert McMinn, Leonard Martin, Christy Zaudke, Daniel Keller, Kelly Martinez, Lisa Willmore, Debra Hemmert, Scott Ransom, Alonzo Coby, Marsha Wright, Michael Wiedholz, Tamara Code, James Denton, Gabe Flicker, Johanna Jones, Dr. Herb Maschner, John Bob, Tamara Dance, DaNae Young, Jay Colonel, Isabell Bob, Joselin Matkins, Bryan Donyes, John Azzola, Brandon Lance, Brock Wilks, Susan H. Mann and Kathy Tauscher.
   There are award categories recognizing the outstanding efforts of businesspeople, volunteers, educators and hometown heroes in Southeast Idaho.
   The categories include Retail, Professional, Non-Profit/Public Service, Volunteer of the Year, Industry/Technology, Education and Overachievers under 40. Two awards will be given out in the Education category, one each for the K-12 and university levels. There will also be a Hall of Fame award given out for the winner’s lifetime of achievement.
   Sponsored by the Idaho State Journal, Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance, Greater Pocatello Chamber of Commerce and the Blackfoot Chamber of Commerce, the awards recognize the outstanding business and community efforts of Southeast Idahoans.
   A selection committee made up of representatives from the sponsors selects the award winners.
