POCATELLO — Ghosts and ghouls delight! Snake River Doodle’s Haunted Attractions will host a free thrills and chills summer scream fest this week at the Bannock County Event Center.

Beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday and continuing Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., horror aficionados and fans of everything Halloween, haunted and paranormal are invited to enjoy a few summer screams and a weekend of spine-chilling attractions.

The “FestEvil” will feature special guests like Pocatello Paranormal Research crew along with engaging spooky fun that includes eccentric oddities and shops, mediums, tarot card readers, face painting, magic shows and live music. Attendees are encouraged to show up in costumes with prizes being awarded for the standouts throughout the day on Saturday.

For those looking to tear into a bit of delicious cuisine, food trucks will be serving meals all evening. Other fun featured activities include FX Makeup Demos, a fire show and plenty of horror podcast inspired discussions and talks.

A variety of area haunted attractions will be joining in on the frightening fun, including SRD's Haunted Fairgrounds, Slaughter's Realm and the Haunted Hollow.

The event is for all ages and for youth interested in something a little less fearsome, the Jr. Haunt Zone will have fun activities all day for the youngsters.

SRD's Haunted Trail will be also open both Friday and Saturday night for a few frights and delights from 9:30 p.m. until the line ends. The Haunted Trail will be $10 for adults and $5 for youth.
