IDAHO FALLS — Divers with the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office recovered the body of a man Friday who fell into the Snake River in Idaho Falls late last month.

The man was identified as Teng Go, 88, of Arizona. Divers located his body around 10:30 a.m. Friday, just upstream from the Broadway Bridge, approximately 46 feet below the surface, according to the Sheriff's Office. Go fell into the river Aug. 30 near the bridge.

Divers and rescue personnel had been searching the area since Go fell in, taking advantage of lower water flow and improved search conditions during the past few days.

According to the Sheriff's Office, search operations are continuing in an effort to locate John Green, 54, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who fell into the river June 4 near the same area.

Green and a co-worker were standing on the riverbank when Green lost his footing and fell into the water, authorities said. Both men had been in Idaho Falls attending a business seminar.

Authorities said Go was visiting Idaho Falls with family when he fell into the river.

Go's body has been turned over to the Idaho Falls Police Department and the Bonneville County Coroner's Office, which will continue the investigation into his death.
