POCATELLO — Those behind the creation of the www.dosomething.org website and Staples employees are teaming up with teen actress and recording artist Bella Thorne for the 5th annual “Staples for Students” school supply drive.

    The national drive encourages teenagers to collect school supplies and drop them off at their nearest Staples store. The last day to do so is September 15.

    All school supplies and local donations will be handed off to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Idaho group.

     “I’m excited to help motivate fellow teens to make a difference in their communities,” Thorne said in a news release. “There are so many kids in America who return to school without basic school supplies, and I’m thrilled to team up with Staples and www.dosomething.org to encourage teens to lend a hand.”

    The Pocatello-based Staples store is located at 1710 Hurley Dr.

    Staples customers can also get involved by donating $1 or more at the check-out stand.
