POCATELLO  — Southeastern Idaho Public Health reported 1,134 new COVID-19 cases for the week-long period ending on Monday, in addition to one confirmed death.

Of the total, there were 716 cases in Bannock County, 204, cases in Bingham County, 76 cases in Franklin County, 45 cases in Caribou County, 39 cases in Power County, 22 cases in Bear Lake County, 19 cases in Oneida County and 13 cases in Butte County.

The new cases were down significantly from the prior week, when the region reported 2,251 new COVID-19 cases.
