POCATELLO — It was all about the youth in Pocatello on Wednesday night during the annual Idaho State Journal Kids Matter awards ceremony hosted at Idaho State University’s Stephens Performing Arts Center.

During the ceremony — which was presented by Bayer and sponsored by the Idaho State Journal, the ISU Federal Credit Union and McDonald’s — two dozen students from the Gate City area received recognition for the good deeds, kindness, community involvement and friendship that they exhibit daily in their neighborhoods or schools.

Here is a list of the 24 Gate City area students to receive recognition on Wednesday:
