POCATELLO — The man severely injured in an April 5 wreck near Old Town has died.

John Davis, 42, of Pocatello, died Friday at Portneuf Medical Center from injuries suffered in a four-vehicle wreck on North Main Street near Greeley Street, authorities said.

The wreck involved a pickup truck, SUV, minivan and a car driven by Davis.

Davis’ car sustained extensive damage during the crash and he was transported via Pocatello Fire Department ambulance to PMC.

Authorities said that Davis suffered serious internal injuries in the wreck and he had been listed in critical condition in PMC’s intensive care unit prior to passing away.

Police have not released the names of anyone else involved in the wreck or provided details on how it occurred.

Davis was the only person injured in the crash. The other three vehicles involved appeared to have only minor damage.
