Pig out at 'Ap-Hog-Alypse'

POCATELLO — The Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group will celebrate “Ap-Hog-Alypse” — Pig Out Like It’s the End of the World” this Saturday, Sept. 15, 4 to 10 p.m. at the Lower Ross Park pavilion.

The fundraiser includes a dinner of grilled pork chops, Idaho baked potatoes, corn on the cob, a vegetarian Dutch-oven dish, and ice cold beverages. There will also be live music by Kyd- J and games for kids.

All proceeds go to the CW HOG organization to provide outdoor recreation and social activities for individuals of all abilities. 

Cost for adults 12 years and up is $10 in advance or $12 at the event. Kids, ages 6-11, are $5 in advance or $7 at the event. Ages 5 and under are free of charge. A family of four is $35 plus $5 per additional child in advance. 

Community members may purchase tickets at The Outdoor Adventure Center on the campus of Idaho State University, Barrie’s Ski and Sports, Scott’s Ski and Sports, and Sandbaggers.
