IDAHO FALLS — A drug bust in Idaho Falls on Monday resulted in eight arrests and the seizure of more than 30 pounds of marijuana.

Idaho Falls residents Lisa-Marie J. Jackson, 22, Hunter K. Kelly, 23, Anthony T. Peralta, 19, Aaron D. Walker, 23 and Tally Jo Wetzel, 20, have each been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

In addition, Idaho Falls residents Isiah R. Hardy, 20, and Kaydan L. Swensen, 19, have each been charged with drug trafficking. Lewisville resident Dakota A. Mouser, 21, has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance.

The suspects have been booked into the Bonneville County jail.

Authorities said the Special Investigations Unit Task Force, a partnership between the Idaho Falls Police Department and the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, obtained search warrants for three residences in Idaho Falls. Two of the residences were located in the 1300 block of Elizabeth Circle, while the third was located in the 300 block of E. 15th St.

Police said a search of the residences resulted in the seizure of more than 30 pounds of marijuana, approximately $42,700 in cash, two vehicles, an AR-15 rifle and a pistol.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho State Police worked with the Special Investigations Unit Task Force in conducting the drug bust.

According to the Idaho Falls Police Department, the arrests were the result of several weeks of investigation.
