LAVA HOT SPRINGS — A female driver sustained minor injuries when her vehicle struck a deer on Blazer Highway on Wednesday night.

Bannock County emergency dispatchers said the woman, whose name was not released, was traveling towards Lava Hot Springs in her Honda Accord around 7:30 p.m. when her vehicle struck the deer. She sustained an arm injury during the incident, but didn’t have to be transported to the hospital. 

Additional details weren’t available at press time.
