POCATELLO — A motorcyclist was injured earlier this week in a collision with a car on the city's north side.
The 10:07 p.m. Sunday crash involving a Honda motorcycle and Honda Civic sedan occurred at Olympus Drive and Baldy Avenue, police said.
The 22-year-old male motorcyclist suffered injuries in the crash and was rushed via Pocatello Fire Department ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. He's expected to survive, authorities said.
The 18-year-old female driver of the Civic was not injured.Â
The motorcycle suffered extensive damage in the crash while the Civic suffered rear end damage and a flat tire.
The names of the motorcyclist and driver of the car haven't been released.Â
The Olympus Drive-Baldy Avenue intersection was shut down for about an hour because of the wreck.
The accident remains under investigation by Pocatello police.Â
