POCATELLO — Jeffrey Dillon Upchurch, 28, was arrested and charged with robbery and battery on an officer Tuesday night.

Pocatello Police officers report that Upchurch was arrested for robbery at about 8:30 p.m. in the area of 5th Ave. and E. Bridger Street after being positively identified as the individual who had knocked a female to the ground and forcibly taken a small amount of cash from her while she was walking in the area of 100 McKinley Ave. at about 7:30 p.m. He and the female victim reportedly did not know each other.

While at the Bannock County Jail Upchurch reportedly kicked an officer which resulted in the Battery on an Officer charge.
