POCATELLO — Local Daughters of the Utah Pioneers chapter showcases “History, the Bannock North Company of the DUP,” connecting people with their roots with a display through July 24 at the Marshall Public Library, 113 S. Garfield Ave.

    The display of pioneer artifacts and other antiques is on the second floor of the library.

    In addition to the display members of the local company will be at the library July 24 from 1 to 9 p.m. Members will be available to share stories of the early settlers, answer questions about the organization and provide tips on preserving family history.

    Of interest will be Dorothy Anderson, regional representative of the DUP and Judy Bronco, a member of the Arapahoe Nation of Wyoming, who will be present to relate stories and answer questions. They will talk from 3 to 4 p.m.
