NAMPA — Long awaited by Nampa residents and fans of the California-based chain, In-N-Out Burger will be holding its grand opening Wednesday.

According to a Tuesday morning press release, the Nampa In-N-Out will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-1 a.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 a.m.

The Nampa In-N-Out is located near the Treasure Valley Marketplace on the former lot of TGI Fridays at 16225 N Marketplace Blvd.

In-N-Out’s lot connects to the busy Karcher Bypass and Marketplace Boulevard intersection. However, on the restaurant’s west side is an entrance on the less-busy Merchant Way.

The third location to open in Idaho, following openings in Meridian and Boise, In-N-Out Nampa will employ approximately 85 employees with a base wage of $17.50 an hour.

In-N-Out has locations in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Colorado, adding Idaho to the list in recent years.

Launching its first Idaho location in Meridian in 2023, the burger chain garnered online attention and hours-long lines. Whether the hype will be matched at the Nampa location remains to be seen.

Carmen Boeger, community engagement coordinator for the Nampa Police Department, said that the NPD will have a few officers present Wednesday to assist In-N-Out’s traffic control, adding that it’s hard to predict what the total turnout will be.

“They gave us opening day numbers for the Meridian and Boise openings, but really don’t have a way to anticipate numbers for Nampa,” Boeger wrote in a text.

Boeger said a traffic plan was created with collaboration between In-N-Out and the city.
