Floyd Gabriel Clayton

Idaho Falls Police arrested 33-year-old Floyd Gabriel Clayton for burglary, domestic battery with a child present and obstructing and resisting arrest following an incident Sunday afternoon.

Clayton of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to reports, police responded to a convenience store, located at 1625 W. Broadway, around 12:45 p.m. concerning a disturbance in the 800 block of South Skyline.

The victim stated that Clayton started yelling at her and hitting her at their apartment on Skyline. The woman attempted to leave with her 3-year-old daughter, but Clayton tried preventing them. After a struggle, the victim managed to leave and came to the convenience store.

Officers responded to the apartment on Skyline. Clayton was arrested after police found in the neighbor’s attic hiding. He broke into the neighbor’s attic by entering through the wall from his apartment.
