FORT HALL — American hard rock band Warrant has been scheduled to perform at the Shoshone-Bannock Hotel and Events Center on Saturday,  Dec. 29.

    Formed in 1984 in Hollywood, the band has released nine studio albums, including the most recent, “Rockaholic” in 2011. The album peaked at No. 22 on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart.

    The band achieved rock radio success  with its first album, “Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich” and the hit song “Heaven,” which reached No. 1 in Rolling Stone and No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

    The band’s sophomore album, “Cherry Pie,” spawned the hit by the same name as well as the songs “Uncle Tom’s Cabin,” and “I Saw Red.” Both albums were certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. Over the course of their career, Warrant has sold more than 10 million albums internationally.

    Warrant’s music has undergone significant evolution throughout the band’s 20-year history. Their style is typical of many Sunset Strip glam metal bands and remains the band’s signature sound. In September 2008, Robert Mason replaced Jani Lane as lead vocalist.

    Liberty Lush is scheduled to open the show. Doors will open at 6 p.m., Liberty Lush will perform at 7 p.m. and Warrant will start at 8 p.m.

    General admission tickets are $20, VIP seating tickets will be $35, and a $45 ticket will buy a VIP package which includes a meet and greet.
