HANSEN, Idaho (AP) — A farm worker has died of injuries suffered when the tractor he was driving in south-central Idaho was rear-ended by a pickup truck pulling an empty livestock trailer.

The Idaho State Police says 58-year-old Salvador Centeno of Kimberly died at a Boise hospital on Sunday.

The ISP says Centeno was eastbound on U.S. Highway 30 near Hansen Wednesday morning when an eastbound pickup hit the back of the John Deere tractor. The patrol says the tractor was marked with slow-moving vehicle signs.

Centeno was placed on life support. The pickup driver also was hospitalized.

State Trooper Jeff McConnell said no charges had been filed as of Monday. McConnell says he expects to finish the accident report next week and turn it over to the Twin Falls County prosecutor’s office.
