POCATELLO — What started as a physical disturbance between two sisters in the Gate City Thursday afternoon ended with the arrest of their mother.
According to the city report, Pocatello Police Department officers were called to check on a residence along McKinley Avenue around 11:30 a.m. after neighbors reported a disturbance.
When officers arrived, they found two adult sisters who had been involved in a physical fight. One of the females was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
It was discovered, at some point, that the two sisters’ mother, Julia Hudson, had a warrant out for her arrest. Authorities say Hudson took off running but was apprehended a short time later at the Wall 2 Wall carpet store.
Hudson was taken to the Bannock County Jail.
