AMERICAN FALLS — Owners of Ken's Food Market were notified early Monday morning about a break-in at their business, located on Tyhee Avenue in American Falls. The offender(s) broke the glass of the front automatic sliding door and then broke another glass cabinet inside of the grocery store and stole an unknown about of merchandise.
   A detective from the American Falls Police Department was unavailable for further comment on the incident or any other information at press time. Look for more information on the incident in tomorrow's edition.
   The Power County Sheriff's office reported there is a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for shooting and killing two cows on Michaud Creek Road. The cows were killed with a small caliber weapon on June 23. Those with information should contact the P.C. Sheriff's office at 226-2311.
   Other incident reports within American Falls include an arrest on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 535 N. Oregon Trail, of Rafael Flores, 21, of American Falls, on a warrant out of Power County for failure to appear.
   Anton W. Chambers, 21, of American Falls, was cited and released for disturbing the peace on Monday, Sept. 10, after a neighbor called and complained about loud music and dogs barking.
   A car was reported stolen on Fort Hall Ave. and recovered the same day, Monday, Sept. 10, on Monroe Street. The case is still under investigation. There have been a number of similar cases within American Falls over the last month. The police department warns citizens to be mindful by locking their vehicle and not leaving the keys in the vehicle.
