LOGAN, Utah — Former Logan chiropractor Evan J. Lefevre has been charged in two new felony cases for sexually abusing former patients — one being a minor — in 2022 and 2023.

Combined, Lefevre is facing one new count of aggravated sexual abuse of a minor and three counts of second-degree forcible sexual abuse.

According to a probable cause statement filed Monday by Logan City Police, in 2023 Lefevre inappropriately touched a juvenile patient during her first appointment while the mother was in the room.

When the victim asked her mother why Lefevre had done that after the appointment, the mother said she was unfamiliar with what a chiropractor appointment typically looked like, but assured the victim she would be at every appointment.

The mother told investigators they went to three to five more appointments, and it didn’t happen again.

Investigators wrote that the victim was forensically interviewed and described Lefevre massaging her inappropriately at the initial appointment.

“The child victim said she had never been to a chiropractor before and thought this is (what) they do,” investigators wrote. “She recalled ask(ing) mother why (Lefevre) put his hands down her pants and was told it must be a chiropractor thing.”

According to a second probable cause statement filed the same day, in 2022 a woman began seeing Lefevre after a car accident.

“She want to see Evan a total of 10 times and during 3 of those visits Evan told (the) victim her ribs were displaced at the joint with the sternum and he wanted to do adjustments there,” investigators wrote. “(The) victim advised him she was not experiencing any pain there, but Evan explained how the impact with the seat belt compressed her ribs to slightly displace them.”

The victim agreed to the adjustments, during which Lefevre would “manipulate” the victim’s scrub top to expose and touch her inappropriately, according to the probable cause statement.

“Victim said it was uncomfortable to have him be in such close proximity to her breasts, to see them, and to be touching them,” investigators wrote.

The victim told investigators that a female staff member would be brought in during these adjustments. During the last treatment the victim had, she described Lefevre “breathing heavy and slow with his face right over her.”

“Victim felt something was off and looked at the female assistant in the room,” investigators wrote. “Victim said the female assistant was staring straight ahead at the wall on the far side of the room. She said the assistant looked uncomfortable and tense.”

Former chargesLefevre was initially arrested in December 2025 and charged with four counts of forcible sexual abuse, each a second-degree felony.

Lefevre denied intentionally touching patients inappropriately, telling investigators he often performs adjustments by feel and is careful during treatment.

After the initial arrest received media attention, Logan police asked other potential victims to come forward.

By March 2026, Lefevre faced 34 total counts of forcible sexual abuse. The allegations involved numerous patients who generally accused him of inappropriate touching during chiropractic treatments between approximately 2018 and 2025.

Lefevre is being held without bail and appeared in court Wednesday afternoon for a decision on whether to hold a preliminary hearing on all of his pending felony charges. This article will be updated with the result of that hearing when it becomes publicly available.
