Jennifer Miller

Jennifer Miller, 17, has been missing since Dec. 26, and her family is asking the public's help in locating her.

CHUBBUCK — The family of a missing Chubbuck girl is asking for the public’s help in finding her.

Last seen on Dec. 26, Jennifer Miller, 17, left her mother’s Chubbuck home at about 3 p.m. and has not been home since. Her father, David Miller, said her cell phone appears to be off and she has not been on her Facebook page since then.

Miller said he is most concerned with his daughter’s safety and is worried she may be in a situation that could jeopardize that. He believes Jennifer is still in the Chubbuck/Pocatello area.

Jennifer has recently colored her hair black as in the photo provided by her family. She has hazel brown eyes, stands about 5-foot-six-inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds.

She is a senior at Pocatello High School where she was a standout member of this year’s soccer team.

Anyone with information about Jennifer’s whereabouts is asked to call the Chubbuck Police Department at 237-7172.

Chubbuck police Lt. Bill Guiberson said the department was contacted about Jennifer on Dec. 26 and have done significant investigation into the incident, garnering a number of potential leads that they continue to follow up.
