A gunman robbed an undisclosed amount of cash from an Idaho Falls convenience store early Sunday in what may be part of a string of convenience store robberies over the last few weeks, according to the Idaho Falls Police Department.
The man walked into the Common Cents at 1003 S. Boulevard around 3:52 a.m. with a handgun and demanded money, police said.
The suspect is described as a 130-pound white male, 5-foot, 6-inches tall, who was dressed in a hoodie and blue jeans. He was last seen headed south.
Police believe that Sunday’s robbery is connected to previous convenience store robberies that have occurred in the last few weeks.
Anyone with information about this robbery, or who was at the store between 3:45 a.m. and 4 a.m., is asked to contact the Police Department at 529-1200 or Crimestoppers at 522-1983.
