Vlad would appoint his wife, Rahim or Mannan before considering me. Will only appoint someone who will kiss the ring and support unlimited raises for himself.

It's all about CYA and shifting blame. The point is a young man is dead. Killed within a few seconds of police arriving. The chief can delegate responsibility but cannot delegate accountability. He is accountable for all officers under his command. A police officer commanding 'to drop the knife is not de-escalation. Shows lack of training and maturity. We cannot continue to have shoot first ask questions later. No Monday morning quarterbacking allowed. This whole episode reflects the quality of police officers the city has currently and is recruiting. They city has lower the standards because of lack of applicants who can qualify.

There’s an opening on the Council. Let’s see what you can do?

so these police officers were acting on unreliable information taken by a 911 Operator. She just report what the caller tells her so aren't the 911 lady and the guy that made the call more responsible than the police. If it had been an intoxicated male that was attacking 2 women and another man in a domestic violence situation the officers did what they had been trained to do. But there were so many variables the guy had several disabilities and yes disabled people can be very violent, The officers didn't know he was only 17 and disabled that he only spoke spanish and this was his family. They didn't know this because they didn't receive the information. Why didn't the 911 operator ask more questions before the officers got there? Why ?

The Earp brothers and Doc Holliday unloaded on Perez. They can each now carve a notch in their weapon. Such brave officers now patrolling the streets of Pocatello. Chief will later present each officer with an award for preventing mass knife attack upon the citizens.

wrong as this was the officers were not given full information. the 911 caller and the 911 operator passed along what the caller's Dad was saying. why aren't they being questioned? The cops thought it was a normal male drunk and wounded by a log (which was a large branch) brandishing a knife to 2 women and an older man. That was the info they got.
