FORT HALL — A 28-year-old Fort Hall man has been arrested for allegedly fatally stabbing a 34-year-old Fort Hall man on Friday night, officials with the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes confirmed.
Tre Martin has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of Dylan Tindore, which occurred at a residence on Broncho Road within the Fort Hall Reservation, according to a press release issued by the Tribes.
Fort Hall police responded to an anonymous call at 10:43 p.m. that someone had been stabbed and wasn’t breathing, according to the press release. Tindore was reportedly deceased at a residence on Agency Road when officers arrived there in response to the call.
Authorities determined through their investigation that Tindore was involved and that the stabbing occurred at the Broncho Road residence, according to the press release. Officers located Martin and placed him into custody. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is assisting Fort Hall police in the investigation.
Fort Hall Police Chief Pat Teton emphasized in the press release that it’s an isolated incident and there’s no current danger to the community.
“Our condolences go out to the family of Dylan Tindore,” Teton said in the press release.
