Tom Catmull returns to Idaho State University this Thursday for the free Concert on the Quad at 6 p.m. Catmull is a songwriter originally from Gulf Coast, Texas, who transplanted to Western Montana in 1994. Catmull plays a blend of country, folk, pop, shuffles, waltzes, rock and more. All are welcome to attend.

The movie “Eternity” plays this Friday at 5 and 7:30 p.m. in the Bengal Theater at the ISU Pond Student Union. Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller and Callum Turner star in this story about a woman who dies and must spend seven days in a bureaucratic afterlife deciding whether to spend forever with her husband of 50+ years or her first love who died a decade earlier. “The film is fantastical, yet grounded in moving truths, warm and heart tugging and laugh-out-loud witty. Looking ahead to next week, the triennial Idaho International Choral Festival returns to Pocatello with inspiring concert performances from July 15–18, culminating in a spectacular finale at the Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the Stephens Performing Arts Center. “The Christophers” plays July 17 at 5 and 7:30 p.m. in the Bengal Theater.
